About Project Aspiro
Individuals with vision loss experience the highest unemployment or underemployment rates of any group in society. Being an individual with vision loss, without access to resources, exposed to society’s often low expectations, and routinely being excluded from participation in the economy, results in social and economic isolation.
Project Aspiro provides information, tools, and resources for people who are blind and partially sighted, their friends and family, service providers, and employers in Ontario and around the globe, with the end goal of improving the overall quality of life of those living with vision loss.
Project Aspiro was created in partnership with CNIB and the World Blind Union and was funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
